Tuesday, 05/15/07 Tennessean Williamson AM Brentwood plans runoff to break commission tie BRENTWOOD - The Brentwood City Commission voted at its meeting Monday night to break the tie between commission candidates Betsy Crossley and Paul Ross with a runoff election. Crossley and Ross each received 1,740 votes during the May 1 election, tying for the fourth available seat on the commission. Commissioners scheduled the runoff election for July 10, with early voting to be held from June 21 through July 3.
