Public Hearing on the 2020 Plan The Brentwood 2020 Comprehensive Plan is a citizen-based initiative for guiding the community's future. This document provides a guide to the City leaders on future growth and development decisions. The City recently underwent a comprehensive process to update the 2020 plan. Many of us have either participated in this process through responding to their surveys or by attending some of the workshops or hearings. As someone that has expressed an interest in green space preservation in the past, we wanted to let you know of a very important Public Hearing on the 2020 plan coming up this Monday, December 11th. The Public Hearing will be conducted by the Board Of Commissioners at the Municipal Center, 5211 Maryland Way, starting at 7:00pm. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the proposed Brentwood 2020 Plan update. What is the Commission going to do? How is the plan going to be implemented? When? It is important that our elected official see that there is broad based support for preserving some of Brentwood's rapidly disappearing green space. The Board of the Citizens for Brentwood Green Space will be there, and some will be speaking on the plan. We encourage all of our members and interested parties to come to the meeting in support of this important plan that will impact our futures and the futures of our families for years to come.
